Job description
DUTIES: Under the supervision of the Wastewater Treatment Superintendent, assists with the operation and repair of the City's wastewater collection system. This is an entry level position. Trainee will be required to learn basic knowledge of the Wastewater Treatment Collection System.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: One year experience in the maintenance, repair or construction of municipal sanitary sewers or storm drain systems or equivalent experience.
Licenses/Certifications: A valid Utah Driver's License. Must obtain a Utah State Water Collections Certification I within two (2) years of hire.
Desired Qualifications: Possession of a Valid Commercial Class B Driver's License. Previous experience in waste water collection systems.
SALARY: $18.81to $30.09 per hour. Typically hire within the range of $18.81 to $24.45 per hour depending on qualifications. Also includes a comprehensive benefits package.
SCHEDULE: M-TH, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Also required to participate in an on-call rotation. Evenings, holidays, and weekends may be required.
