POSITION SUMMARY:

Shift- weekends

The Bellman at Historic Hotel Bethlehem:

• Acts as the ambassador of the hotel
• Meets and exceeds customer and team member expectations

• Greets all guests and assists with luggage upon arrival and departure
• Collects and returns guest laundry and dry cleaning
• Informs guests of room amenities, hotel facilities and restaurants
• Provides shuttle service for guests
• Provides directions and/or area information to guests
• Delivery of packages, mail, flowers, etc. to guest rooms

COMPENSATION:

$16-$20 per hour including gratuity

SKILLS REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Strong customer service orientation
• Professional and positive image
• Works well with others
• Strong listening skills and patience
• Strong communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants must have the physical capability to lift, push or pull at least 30-50 pounds. Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift, and to reach and stretch, bend, kneel and squat.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, in English.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Dress Code Note: All associates must abide by grooming standards set forth by Historic Hotel Bethlehem. No tattoos may be exposed during your shift, males must be clean shaven while working.

Historic Hotel Bethlehem strives to provide a positive and drug-free workplace.
