Location: Petersburg, VA
The Welder/Fabricator is responsible for adhering to our level of commitment to safety and customer service. In this role, the successful candidate will apply appropriate welds to fabricate or repair the company's needs related to the waste industry such as containers, compactors, carts, etc. Candidate must work well alongside others and have reliable transportation Monday-Friday 1st shift.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Must be able to mig and stick weld along with various fabrication skills

• Must be able to use plasma cutter and acetylene torch

• Must be able to work steadily unsupervised and finish jobs in a timely manner

• Follow and comply with all safety policies.

• Additional duties as assigned.

Education/ and or Experience:

• Prior work experience as a Welder/Fabricator

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Specialized Knowledge Required – Including any required certificates, licenses, and registrations

• Must be able to multi-task and have a great attention to detail.

• Must have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: $13.69 - $26.08 per hour
