CSPNJ, a mental health nonprofit agency, has an opening for a Wellness Provider for a Center located on the grounds of Ancora Psychiatric Hospital in Hammonton, NJ. This position is part-time temporary 12 month assignment with possible renewal. This position is benefits eligible and would require to clear hospital pre-employment screening including finger printing.

The Unit Wellness Provider delivers individual and group peer support, socialization and recreational activities to person’s served with a focus on ?reintegration into the community by providing support to individuals receiving services who are hesitant to leave the hospital setting. Focuses on resources linkages to prepare and support patients who are being discharged and integrating back into the community. This role works with clients, hospital staff and other supporters to coordinate and ensure that housing options and other services are discussed and obtained prior to discharge. Assist with other day-to-day operations of the wellness center. Coordinates with hospital staff as needed and assists with community relations and other related activities. This position is located on the grounds of Ancora Psychiatric Hospital in Hammonton, NJ. This is a temporary position through November 2023 with possible renewal.

Salary: $17.50 per hour

Schedule: M - F // 35 hours per week

Type: Temporary position 12 month assignment with possible renewal.

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 plus years of work experience in metal health system
• Associates degree with at least one year experience working in the mental health system is preferred.
• Required to pass hospital clearance including finger printing.
• Lived Experience: CSPNJ prioritizes hiring people who have been trained to use their own life experience dealing with mental health or substance use challenges to inspire and support others.
• Required to have obtain their first dose of the primary series of a COVID-19 vaccination by their start date.
