The ideal candidate for our Writer will excel by collaborating with all levels of leadership, including the Communications Manager and Marketing and Communications Director. The Writer we are looking for will enjoy writing Faith Life Church content including but not limited to social media, e-blasts, website copy, curricula, and other requested items. Our Writer will be responsible for writing a cohesive branded message for all aspects of communication across Faith Life Church and Faith Life Now.

• Maintains a thorough understanding of foundational teachings of Pastors Gary & Drenda
• Updates and oversees online correspondence representing Faith Life Church and Faith Life Now
• Creates print, web, and e-blast content for Faith Life Church and Faith Life Now.
• Format and send weekly emails for each of the ministry’s brands through MailChimp.
• Monthly maintenance of the MailChimp email lists (includes exporting lists to send to other departments, uploading updated lists, and scrubbing lists)
• Assists in the creation of various curricula
• Analyzes audience response and MailChimp data to various topics to tailor communications that further the message of the ministries.
• Excellent with time management and ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.
• Thrive on producing excellent quality content under tight deadlines or ambiguous circumstances.
• Event participation, content strategy, and collaboration and more.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• 2+ years of writing experience
• Proficient with social media platforms (FB, Instagram, etc.)
• Proficient with MailChimp (or other email platforms), Microsoft Office, and Google Docs
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and Google Sheets
