Woods Machinery is seeking a Yard Coordinator / Laborer / Worker to join our team at our Bobcat of Central Jersey (Green Brook, NJ) location to support our customer base in the New Jersey/New York/Delaware tri-state area.

This position is responsible for the daily maintenance and organization of the yard. This includes but not limited to loading/unloading of trucks, verifying the accuracy with the receipt of whole goods and general cleanliness of the yard and service areas.

Frequent tasks:

• Unload shipments of whole good and parts orders and place all deliveries in assigned location.
• Load any outgoing orders on customer trailers or LTL trucks.
• Display new equipment in a neat and orderly manner for sales displays and secure.
• Rotate front sales displays as needed with various equipment or attachments and secure.
• Assist in conducting bi-weekly whole goods audits in conjunction with Branch Manager.
• Verify all incoming deliveries for accuracy by checking packing slips and bill of ladings.
• Provide all whole good delivery paperwork (packing slips/BOL) to the Branch Manager to be processed for receiving.
• Provide all delivery paperwork (packing slips/BOL) for any parts deliveries to the Branch Manager to be processed for receiving.
• Monitor and verify all incoming/outgoing internal vehicles to ensure proper whole goods/parts items are being transported.
• Assist Service and Rental Departments in prepping machines for sale, rental, or demo. This includes but not limited to power washing the exterior of the machine, cleaning the cab, as well as inbound and outbound inspections of equipment.
• Maintain the general cleanliness of the yard and service areas.
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements:

• 2 years warehouse experience required, with the ability to learn the industry; industry experience is preferred
• High School Diploma required, Associates Degree preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills
• Computer literate with experience in PC/ Mainframe applications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Able to lift 50lbs and work in an outside environment
• Forklift Certified is preferred
• Able to pass background and drug screening
• Work overtime as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
