ABOUT THE ROLE

• Stage pre-picked material in the defined locations in or around the production facility using fork lift equipment
• Unload stock lumber and sheathing products from inbound delivery trucks and place in the designated stock locations
• Rotate stock based on the date of delivery
• May install protective devices such as bracing, padding, or strapping to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported
• Maintain material storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected
• Perform final inspections on loads to ensure material accuracy and load securement
• Assemble trailers for delivery to the job site
• Assemble product containers or crates using hand tools and precut lumber
• Stack and assemble roof truss jobs
• Spotter/yard dog operator to move trailers around in production and yard
• Other duties as assigned

• Forklift experience preferred
