WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: The Yardi Support Specialist is the primary point of contact for Yardi software users across the company.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:  Resolve tickets that the Software Application Manager & IT team need assistance on for completion  Support corporate and community teams on troubleshooting issues, best practices, and reports, etc.  Respond to helpdesk inquiries related to Yardi module errors or general Yardi questions/issues. Alert manager of any irregularities or issues  Work with Yardi support staff to troubleshoot and resolve user and system issues  Create and support custom processes, stored procedures, and reports as needed  Create custom reports using SQL, YSR and SSRS  Lead and/or participate in all Yardi related teams  Recommend and participate in the creation of all SMC technology improvements  Support integration of new properties into the company’s Yardi platform  Assist SMU with Yardi training and class materials  Provide training on existing and new Yardi modules to all users.  Maintain current user guides, process documentation, and maintenance schedules for Yardi  Contribute to the team’s effort by accomplishing tasks and assisting with projects as needed  Perform system maintenance, including user creation and termination, updating user groups, assisting in maintenance of system menus, and testing for data integrity.  Local travel may be required between properties as needed.  Comply with all Southern Management’s policies and procedures  Perform various other duties as assigned by Director

JOB KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:  Strong interpersonal skills in a technical customer support environment  Knowledge and experience with the implementation, maintenance, and support of the full suite of Yardi property management products  Experience in the use of database reporting languages and tools including SQL  Familiarity with processes and procedures relating to residential property management Revised: 10/31/2022

QUALIFICATIONS: Associate degree in related field or equivalent combination of education/experience. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in property management with advanced proficiency in property management software (Yardi). Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization. Strong knowledge of project management principles and demonstrated analytical skills.
