Starting Pay is $20.50 per hour with a $1 shift differential once shift changes hours

2nd shift Monday through Friday

10:00am to 6:30pm. $20.50 an hour

We will moving this to 12:00pm to 8:30pm. Once the shift changes to these hours that is when the $1 shift differential comes into play

Eventually the shift will change to 2:30p- 11p at $21.50 an hour

I. ASSEMBLER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform a variety of semiskilled manual duties requiring knowledge of techniques, tools, equipment and safety precautions. To adhere to the general safety plan. May be required to do other duties as requested by supervisor. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgement. Performs work at a quality level consistent with Wabash National standard practice. Supervised by supervisor, general foreman, manager or department head.

II. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None

III. ASSEMBLER QUALIFICATIONS

Must have both written and verbal communication skills. High School degree or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred for this position

IV. ASSEMBLER PHYSICAL DEMANDS
1. Requires minimum of eight hours of standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling, with a full range of body mechanics.

2. Regularly required to lift up to 25 pounds. Frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds. Occasionally required to lift up to 75 pounds.

3. Must be able to work in an environment requiring use of ladder or stairs, climbing in trailers, and working on platforms.

4. Must have ability to operate a variety of power tools, hand tools, and manufacturing equipment, and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

V. WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT

The work environment includes exposure to high decibels, temperature and weather variations, metal welding processes, and chemicals which may include solvents, undercoating, paint, and caulking.
