Job Overview

Access Control Monitoring Service includes monitoring and operating electronic security systems and manual processes that facilitate the access control and security of U.S. Army Central Command Headquarters. The Access Control Manager provides an adequate staff of personnel with the necessary management expertise to assure the performance of all work-related tasks. Additionally, the Access Control Monitoring Manager provides supervision of employees, assuring full compliance with all work requirements.

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a staff of more than 15 in an environment that requires 24/7 performance
• Possess or able to obtain a valid active SECRET security clearance
• Able to complete a System Galaxy and AXIS Camera Station 5 end user certification course after hiring
• Proficient in Microsoft software programs

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Prepare, update and maintain the Access Control Monitoring Services Standing Operating Procedures
• Maintain, account, for and inspect the Main Reception Desk Access Control Monitoring Services key control procedures
• Maintain a plan for uninterrupted performance of all tasks. This plan shall include coverage for emergency absences of employees
• Receive, issue, and track specific facility keys and visitor badges
• Conduct a semi-annual inventory of facility keys, this must be maintained on a log that can be referenced and inspected
• Take reports of all lost, missing, and stolen facility keys and notify Facility Manager to re-key facility locks in such cases
• Able to verify clearance on a roster and verify if there are any discrepancies between badges and current access
• Maintain familiarity of current installed access control, CCTV, and Security programs and equipment
• Submit monthly status reports
• Conduct monthly emergency exit system checks
