Position Summary:
The Account Executive is responsible for determining account management strategies related to client service plans; retention of existing clients, customer satisfaction, revenue growth, client surveys, and new business; providing program management for clients requiring complex service models; and overseeing the work of other local and national program management staff. This is a customer-facing role and requires a polished professional appearance and demeanor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
New Groups:
- Set up and meeting with new Client and complete the New Group Implementation form on each assigned new ASO group.
- Work with Sandy & Suyog on setting up new Vendors for ASO Clients.
- Review and sign off on eligibility and billing for new groups.
- Draft SPD and get sign off from Client.
- Work with all Departments to make sure that STL rates, Plan benefits, ID Cards, etc. are completed, reviewed and signed off on.
- Oversees the implementation of your new sold cases through the sale, customer service, enrollment and fulfillment process for a flawless customer experience.
Renewals:
- Run reports and send out to bid. Target 90 days out.
- Spreadsheet all bids with the most competitive Carrier.
- Work with Broker and handle every aspect of the renewal, including getting the STL rates finalized, STL rates and disclosure and signed off on. Drafting and Plan Amendments and notifying all departments of the renewal and how OE will be handled.
Daily Account Management:
- Handle all day to day Client questions and concerns
- Run quarterly reports and send to Broker & Client.
- Meet with Client/Broker to discuss 6 month review.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S) from a four-year college or university required.
- 3-5 years TPA & Self-Funded experience required.
- COBRA, HIPAA, & ACA knowledge for ALEs required.
- Insurance license preferred but not required.
- Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
- Analytical and interpretive skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Leadership/management/motivational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent account rounding ability.
- Strong understanding of claims management.
- In-depth knowledge of client servicing.

- Able to influence and motivate others through persuasive points-of-view.
- Able to work with team members to identify where/when these apply as potential client solutions.
- Has robust understanding of how cost of risk impacts clients financial statements and unique attributes which may hinder solutions (e.g., jurisdictional challenges, union workforces, remote locations, etc.).
- Solid understanding of industry products and services.

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
