Roszkowski Massood is hiring an Accountant to be located in our Wildwood Crest office.

Essential job functions and responsibilities include the following:

• Prepare basic individual, partnership, and corporate returns for clients in various industries

• Prepare complied and audited financial statements

• Perform basic tax research using the firms tools and resources provided

• Develop technical skills both on the job and through formal training

• Build strong team relationship skills and work as an effective team member to complete assignments

• Gain basic to intermediate knowledge on applicable tax software

• Engage in effective communication with clients

• Communicate with Partners on work status and ask questions as needed

• Participate in planning of assignments

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles/standards, and experience with Microsoft Office 365

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to comfortably, professionally and effectively communicate with Partners and clients

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently, but also work well in a team environment.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

• CPA License, or on track to obtain, or Enrolled Agent

• GPA of 3.0 and above

• Software Experience - Microsoft Office 365
