POSITION OVERVIEW
Immediate opening for a part time accountant at REW Music in Lenexa, KS. Accounting degree preferred. Background in instrumental music a plus but not necessary. Approximately 25 hours/week with flexible schedule options Monday through Friday between 8:30am & 3:00pm, but must maintain a consistent work schedule. This position is ideal for someone looking to work while their children are at school allowing flexibility to be home before and after school.

DUTIES

• Accounts Receivable for Rental Contracts (includes delinquency account management)
• Accounts Payable (including processing invoices from inventory team, managing business expenses)
• Bank Deposits
• Tax Filings
• General Ledger: Reconcile balance sheet accounts, bank statements
• Assist fellow REW Team Members as necessary

REQUIREMENTS/TRAITS

• Accounting Degree preferred or 3+ years Accounting Work Experience
• Computer Literacy (Windows, Excel, Word)
• Demonstrate Problem Solving Skills
• Excellent Interpersonal Communication
• Developed Organizational Skills and Detail Orientated
• Ability to Self Direct and Multi-task in a shared office space
• Personal Accountability

This is a part time position with no remote option
Hours are approximately: Monday through Friday - Flexible start and end times between 8:30am & 3:00pm. Must be able to maintain work schedule through summers.
