Job description

Position at this level perform professional accounting work in the establishment and/or maintenance of accounts and records while receiving training; learn agency activities, SAP, and central fiscal control activities. As a learner, responsible for maintaining accounting records for organizational units, and has budgetary and/or business management exposure. Prepares, reviews and analyzes all types of accounts and records of financial transactions; and does other related work. Has regular contact with program managers, other State agencies, local and Federal government, customers/vendors and members of the public.

Incumbent in this level position requires the possession of an accounting education and background and demonstration of communication skills. Incumbent must also have the personal qualifications necessary to succeed in reviewing documents, analyzing data and relevant instructions.
