Job description

Rose Architecture and Construction is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Administrator to accurately manage our financial accounts, processing accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, bank deposits, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter bills and process payments for suppliers and subcontractors, and ensure payments are charged to the correct accounts
• Process bank deposits
• Reconcile financial statements; identify and address any discrepancies
• Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable
• Process receipts and accurately track expenses in project management software and quickbooks, across multiple projects and entities
• Prepares monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
• Files monthly and quarterly sales tax reports with the state
• Reports directly to the CEO, VP and Controller

Requirements and Skills

• Associate's degree in accounting, business, administration, or similar
• At least three years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Experience with bookkeeping or accounting in the construction or real estate industry a plus
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Quickbooks Online and Excel / Google Sheets
• Good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures
• Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors
• Fundamental understanding and application of GAAP
• The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
