Job description

Primary Job Responsibilities:

1. Process deposits for 95 accounts daily.

2. Process accounts payable for 90 entities. This includes quarterly distributions to investors

3. Assist with keeping financial information for 90 entities current on accounting software on a monthly basis. Initiate and post journal entries.

4. Prepare monthly financial reports as needed for assigned properties. Investigate Anomalies.

5. Maintain fixed asset lists on assigned properties.

6. Assist with monthly bank reconciliations for 95 accounts.

7. Assemble and analyze financial information from outside sources such as property management reports and input into accounting program.

8. Audit property management budgets and CAM reconciliations yearly.

9. Create and process journal entries from K-1 forms for 90 partnerships, corporations and limited liability companies.

10. Process year end closing journal entries for partnerships, corporations, and limited liability companies.

11. Prepare 1099s at year end.

12. Assist with other accounting related projects as needed.

13. Work with other members of the Accounting Team to develop improved ways to capture, share and use financial information.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.50 - $26.00 per hour
