Accounting Manager – Park My Fleet

Who we are:

Park My Fleet is a rapidly growing company building the future of mobility. We provide parking and related services for various sectors of the automotive industry such as delivery companies and auction houses. We are preparing for the future of electric and autonomous vehicles by partnering with and bringing together solutions from across the industry. Our team is completely remote and decentralized, spread across multiple continents and time zones.

Who we need:

If you are analytical, detail oriented, deadline oriented, an excellent multi-tasker, hardworking, incredibly organized and enjoy accounting/bookkeeping we would like you to join our team! As an Accounting Manager, you will ensure timely and accurate management of all accounting operations. You will be tasked with ensuring quality control over your team’s transactions and reporting. The qualified candidate will also oversee (and assist) their team as they maintain QuickBooks and other online systems to manage expense and revenue transactions. The Accounting Manager must be familiar with accepting and coding all bank and credit card transactions, reconcile all accounts and provide monthly financials.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.

· 5+ years of manager end to end level accounting/bookkeeping experience in a small but growing company

· Minimum of 5 years of QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online experience.

· Excellent communication skills both orally and written.

· Previous experience working in a fully remote role preferred and have a dedicated work space in their home.

General Skills and Qualifications:

· Advanced understanding of accounting principles; general ledger, A/P, A/R, cash management, and job costing, and certified payroll.

· Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks, ADP Payroll, set up, trouble shoot and training.

· Strong ability to maintain a clean and accurate Chart of Accounts (in depth understanding on how transactions should be treated (assets, liabilities, equity, income and expenses)

· Proficient in prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other company financial statements and reports in QuickBooks.

· Ability to reconcile payroll with HR department in a multistate environment.

· Expert level Excel skills - writing macros/VBA, data translation from source to import formats, create formulas and repeatable steps for data lookup, text manipulation, and data formatting to combine data from multiple sources, as well as evaluate, sort, filter, and manipulate large data sets while retaining overall data integrity

· Advanced level knowledge of 1099’s

· Ability to prepare financials up through tax review

· Must know the ins and outs of cash and accrual basis accounting and accrual reversals.

· Must be able to proficiently allocate payment to interest expense and liability principal reduction (strong understanding of amortization schedules)

· Ability to track sales tax on projects and sales tax reporting.

· Have excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new technology.

· Top-notch organizational skills - ability to manage multiple tasks

· Flexibility to adapt to frequent changes, project specific requirements, and solve issues encountered in a timely manner, as well as shift between multiple parallel projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
