SUMMARY STATEMENT
Prepare daily, monthly, quarterly and/or yearly reconciliation reports for assigned duties as well as any required submission of files. Ensures accurate data entry into appropriate operating systems.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Completes or assists with daily, monthly, quarterly and/or yearly reconciliation of assigned accounts.
2. Completes daily general ledger postings for various accounts.
3. Key miscellaneous transactions into proper systems.
4. Prepare reconciliation reports for manager if required.
5. Reconcile daily bank statements with large transactional activity.
6. Ensure all legal obligations of the corporation are processed and submitted timely.
7. Ensures all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training.
8. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent
5+ years clerical or accounting experience required
Banking experience preferred
BS/BA Accounting degree preferred
Basic Excel Skills
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, general business correspondence and/or journals or government regulations
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to customers, clients and other employees in the organization
