We have recently invested heavily in our distribution capabilities and have opened our new corporate headquarters in a newly constructed distribution facility in Kingstree, South Carolina in May2022 to allow us to significantly increase our inventory holdings.
Our senior team has over 50 years’ experience in the promotional apparel industry. With our new Kingstree, SC location, we will be able to service from South Carolina to Texas and from Florida to New York with two-day shipping.
The Role
We currently have a vacancy in our accounts and finance team at Kingstree for the role of Accounts and Office Assistant.
What Your Role will involve:
Reporting to the Accounts Manager, and to head office finance team in Scotland you will be working closely with the whole office and finance team in order to assist in the following areas:
- Management of dedicated supplier accounts
- Research, organisation and purchasing of miscellaneous items
- Data processing/ Data entry including FDM4 accounts.
- Log on invoices and reconcile miscellaneous accounts with payments and dealing with any of these account queries
- Using our procurement system to deal with any queries with the suppliers on the system
- Liaise with managers for PO requests and authorisation
- Collation of miscellaneous end of month supplier accounts for Head Office Manager to pay
- Admin duties for Director as required
- Filing/ other miscellaneous office tasks
Key Skills
- Ability to confidently use FDM4 accountancy package is desirable although not essential as full training will be given.
- Necessary skill in the use of a procurement system/PO system
- Hands-on, diligent and demonstrate excellent attention to detail
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to multi-task
- Proficient with Excel, Word and Outlook and other systems or have the technical abilities to adapt to new systems
- Team player with a strong work ethic and drive
- Ability to work under own initiative and to tight deadlines
