Harrisburg-based Clark Transfer is looking for an Accounts Receivable Accountant to join the Accounting and Administration team serving the transportation and logistics needs of the touring theatre and live entertainment industries. As an Accounts Receivable Accountant, you will work as a member of our Accounting and Administrative team. The primary responsibilities include: preparing and recording customer payments, creating invoices from contracts and bids; submitting invoices to customers, updating customer files, including name or address changes, communicating with customers for collection of past-due invoices, identifying and resolving billing discrepancies, calculating accruals, completing month end processes and creating AR aging reports or other ad hoc reports as requested. In addition, you will be the backup for the Accounts Payable position, fuel auditing, IFTA & HUT tax calculations, and support the Safety and Administrative team.

The position is in office Monday through Friday, full-time.

This work requires:

• A minimum of 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience and 4 years of Accounting experience is required;
• Experience creating invoices from contracts and knowledge of unearned (deferred) revenue is required;
• A fast and willing learner, able to assimilate, retain, and use complex systems with lots of moving parts;
• The ability to work and thrive in a high-pressure, high-stakes environment in which change is a constant, and time is always of the essence;
• Exceptional attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Proficiency with Excel, including the ability to create complex formulas and analyze spreadsheets;
• Experience in the Transportation or Trucking industry is a plus;
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus;
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required.
