Care Synergy has an immediate opening for an Accounts Receivable Assistant Manager.

LOCATION: Denver, CO

STATUS: Full-time

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 40 hours

PAY RANGE: $62,836 – $73,840 per year

SUPPLEMENTAL PAY: Based on position, schedule and/or availability: Overtime

MILEAGE AND EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT: Maximum Allowable Federal Mileage Reimbursement Rate

REWARDING WORK YOU WILL DO:

Assists the Accounts Receivable Manager in directly overseeing the daily management of the accounts receivable cycle through design, implementation, maintenance and management of all accounts receivable business functions and procedures for the accounts receivable collection process.

  • Assists in overseeing customer billing and cash receipt processing:
  • Ensures that all billing cycles are being performed timely
  • Ensures that account agings are properly maintained and accurate
  • Identifies collection challenges, investigates sources, and resolves issues as appropriate
  • Ensures cash posting is timely and accurate
  • Assists with contract management:
  • Ensures that current billing rates are updated as contracts, and/or government programs change
  • Performs contract analysis to ensure that all Affiliates are receiving the best rates available.
  • Assists in maximizing customer relationships and directly interfaces on collection matters and dispute resolution.
  • Assists the Revenue Cycle Manager in Implementing and documenting new policies and procedures relating to the management of the Accounts Receivable Department and its functions.
  • Understands company processes, procedures and policies and ensures adherence to company guidelines.
  • Assists the Revenue Cycle Manager in selecting and hiring employees for the Department. Assist Revenue Cycle Manager in training and coaching employees to enhance their performance and work product, identifies and communicates performance issues to the Revenue Cycle Manager.
  • Participates in continuing education and professional development. Participates in organization and community events and professional associations as required.
  • Ability to occasionally work a flexible schedule as business needs may require.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

WHAT WE ARE GOING TO LOVE ABOUT YOU:

  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum Experience:
  • Two/Three ( 2-3) years’ experience in Accounts Receivable Healthcare, in a supervisory capacity.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in medical billing; specifically, electronic medical record systems
  • Required License: N/A

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to lift/carry a minimum of 30 lbs.
