Admin Office Assistant Housekeeping / EVS
Job description
Position Summary:
It is the primary responsibility of the EVS/HSKP Office Admin Asst to provide administrative support for the EVS/HSKP Administrative Office,
including organizing and maintaining department files and providing information to callers and visitors. All duties are to be performed in accordance with the department and property policies, practices, and procedures.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Answers telephones and gives information to callers, take messages, or transfers calls to proper individuals
- Greets visitors or callers, and handles their inquiries or directs to them to the appropriate persons according to their needs
- Creates and maintains paper and electronic files, databases, and documents.
- Researches and prepares daily casino news clips for distribution to Management Team using a variety of research methods.
- Performs routine administrative tasks; distributes customer letters/feedback to appropriate departments and logs all complaints for executive review; receives and distributes department mail; orders and stocks all office supplies
- Assists the Director of EVS/HSKP and Assistant Managers with special projects as needed.
- Assists with all outside Vendor Partners while maintaining good relationships
- Processes orders request with approved vendors through On-Line ordering system (Stratton Warren/Coupa).
- Assists with Hiring Events, to include scheduling and confirming of interviewees.
- Maintains sign in/out sheet for attendance
- Assist in assignments and follow ups with light Duty Staff
- Assist with opening of housekeeping operations
Qualifications:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One (1) years of experience in a related position
PREFERRED:
- Ability to effectively communicate in Spanish
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Excellent written communications skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and quality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks
- Excellent customer service skills
- Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both oral and written forms.
