Responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant 2 creates and manages correspondence, invoices, contracts, meeting minutes, reports, presentations etc. using Microsoft Office Suite applications. Coordinates internal and external meetings which may involve scheduling meeting times, making travel arrangements for senior leaders and attendees, and ensuring that various meeting amenities are available. Manages the appointments and schedules of executive leadership. Uses office equipment such as photocopiers, faxes, and printers. Additional responsibilities may include distributing incoming mail, preparing outgoing mail, filing, maintaining office supplies or other inventory. Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (some college preferred)
- Previous 2+ years of experience in an administrative assistant or executive assistant role, providing support to senior level executives
- Previous experience with organizing travel arrangements for senior leaders and completing expense reports
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Design and type general correspondence, memoranda, charts, tables, and graphs; proof read copy for spelling, grammar and layout, making appropriate changes
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to balance multiple initiatives, projects and prioritize workload
- Ability to manage multiple calendars and provide support within the Leadership team
- Capacity to maintain confidentiality and work independently in support of the department
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must live within a reasonable commuting distance to the Tampa FL office
- Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.

Additional Information
This a hybrid work position and you will be required to work in the Tampa FL office 2-3 days a week.
