Customer Service Associate

Main Duties of Customer Service Representative:
- Answer and assist callers with inquiries and route calls as necessary
- Enter sales orders from website into ERP system
- Process order confirmations and cancellations via email for website orders within designated time period
- Outbound calls to customers for confirmation of web placed orders; follow up with email copying Sale Representative to ensure response in writing
- Assist in coordinating logistics for customers and partners
- Securing quotes from freight companies to provide to clients
- Schedule inbound delivery appointments for all warehouses
- Data Entry of freight quotes and uploading data files into database
- Assist with creating and sending reports to clients using Excel
- Recommend and provide solutions to common customer issues
- Copying, scanning, emailing, and filing documents for record keeping
- Processing and accepting customer payments
Qualifications and Skills
- Fast paced environment which requires good attention to detail and strong multi-tasking skills
- 2-3 years in Office Customer Service - Retail Customer Service will not be considered to meet this requirement. Call Center can be consider, but must have Office experience with Outlook, Excel, and general office protocol.
- Microsoft Outlook and Windows proficiency
- Basic Excel skills, may need to complete proficiency test
- Stable work history
- Dependability and a commitment to excellence
- Problem solving ability
- Capable of adhering to company policies & procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication & follow up competency
- Strong English skills, bi-lingual Spanish a plus, but not required
Compensation, Benefits, Hours:
- Hourly position $18
- Bonus potential of up to 5% of wages per quarter
- Benefits include medical, dental, and 401K plan with 100% employer matching after only 90 days with no vesting period
- 2 weeks’ vacation, plus sick and personal time
- Paid national holidays and floating holiday
- Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
