QuinStreet is looking for a self-motivated, goal driven and organized Administrative Assistant (contract for 3 months) to play a role in the success and growth of QuinStreet's Human Resources/Employee Benefits & Compliance team. In this role, you will help memorialize procedures and processes, digitize files and documents, as well as provide customer service to the new and existing employee base. This role will work very closely with team members handling on-boarding, benefits, payroll, immigration, and other relevant Human Resources functions. Our ideal candidate will be resourceful, organized, and detail oriented who is looking to gain experience and learn more about the field of Human Resources.
Responsibilities
- Assist Employee Benefits & Compliance (EBC) team with day-to-day responsibilities associated with collecting, entering, and reviewing data for new hires and existing employees.
- Help with the new hire process including generating offer letters, creating new employee files, entering new employees into all related systems and conducting the new hire orientations.
- Verify and collect new hire documentation including I-9s, W-4s, and benefits information.
- Work with the EBC team to digitize documents and employment files. Send archived files to storage, when needed.
- Assist with running new employee background checks.
- Provide customer service to employees' general employee questions.
- Help compile termination paperwork.
- Auditing and assisting in compliance-based projects, including updating the IIPP or other company documents, ordering compliance posters, etc.
- Document processes for the EBC functions.
- Perform clerical functions and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as great organizational skills
- Thorough and accurate, responsible and reliable as well as pro-active
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficient with ADP Workforce Now, MS Word and Excel
- Hybrid position: will need to report to and work from the Foster City office 2-3 days per week.

The expected hourly rate for this position is $20/hr to $25/hr. This hourly range is an estimate, and the actual hourly rate may vary based on the Company's compensation practices. The hourly rate may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in the Company's standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits.
