ABOUT US
Weber Basin Water Conservancy District is Northern Utah’s Regional Water Supplier for: treated municipal water, wholesale irrigation water, retail secondary irrigation water, untreated industrial water and groundwater replacement water. We proudly serve the water needs in Davis, Weber, Summit, Morgan and Box Elder counties.
We are looking to fill an Administrative Specialist position.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Not necessarily a comprehensive list.)
- Assist General Manager with meetings, correspondence, scheduling, etc.
- Assist with employee award functions, activities, recognitions, etc.
- Assist management in the completion of projects and/or analysis.
- Create presentations, agendas, and materials for trainings, conferences, or District customer agency events.
- Arrange meetings and coordinate various activities with businesses, governmental entities, or citizens.
- Coordinate, plan, and oversee District tours with customer entities, public officials, etc.
- Arrange and track travel of District employees.
- Process letters, agendas, reports, memos and other materials from rough draft or no source.
- Receive calls, handle any questions or matters of a non-technical or routine nature and direct others to the appropriate staff member.
- Conduct assigned projects and studies as directed without significant oversight.
- Ensure meeting rooms and kitchen are appropriately supplied.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Uphold and exhibit the District’s core values (collaboration, ownership, mutual respect, professionalism, appreciation, safety, and sustainability).

- Set up meeting rooms.
- Greet and direct visitors and attendees of executive and public meetings.
- Drive between locations as needed.
- Perform other related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school graduation or equivalent, with at least two years of post-high school education. At least five years of experience and training in administration and general office skills.
Must be highly organized and detail oriented. Must have expertise in various computer programs. Must have an upbeat personality and great customer service skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
