JOB TITLE: Parts RunnerREPORTS TO: Parts Supervisor
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The parts runner is responsible for going on daily runs to pick up parts at various locations in the Permian basin to support frac and auxiliary equipment at the new Stanton yard. In fulfilling this duty, the parts runner is tasked with, but not limited to:
- Operating a company vehicle daily
- Pick up and deliver parts and supplies from 3rd party vendors
- Keep a clean and orderly work station
- Ensure basic preventative maintenance on the parts vehicle is completed as needed
- Help stock the parts room when needed
- Participate in parts inventory when requested
- Take pride in their work to ensure all equipment is cleaned and ready for service
- Work together with all departments to help where needed;
- All other duties and responsibilities which from time-to-time may become, or are at any time, necessary for the safe, quality focused operation of the business.
- At least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have a valid drivers license, with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willing to work a 5-day work schedule
This position requires work both indoors and outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions, including precipitation, cold / heat, high wind, and turbulent conditions. Ability to safely navigate work sites with occasional walking, climbing, standing, stepping, etc., during normal operating conditions (day/night, outdoor hot/cold weather) and while utilizing designated personal protective equipment (PPE). The candidate must work with an emphasis on safety for themselves and others including coworkers and third parties. They must be able to work closely with others and under time-sensitive deadlines including potential emergency response situations. They must be willing to work extended schedules that will include working days, nights, weekends and holidays. Variable work hours include regular after-hours and possible weekend commitments. Possible travel to job sites as needed.
