Job description

Our company is seeking an Amazon Logistics & Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will help with the supply chain process, including the production, purchase, and transportation of finished goods to Amazon. This position relies on trend forecasting to predict our inventory needs based on the potential needs of our customer base. You will communicate with procurement specialists to ensure there is no halt in production.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct logistics focused data analysis
• Manage shipment tracking, defect analysis, and exception management
• Optimize inventory performance via trend forecasting
• Perform data quality check for assigned inbound & outbound flows
• Support daily/weekly KPI analysis
• Write and update operations SOPs
• Collaborate with service providers, NA operation centers, and NAFN to solve shipment delivery issues
• Collaborate with origin & destination operations teams
• Work with fulfillment team to ensure customer needs are fulfilled
• Assist with procurement and inventory control

Requirements and Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in program or project management
• 2+ years of Supplier Management, Supply Chain and Logistics Industry experience
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
• 2 + years of experience leading Cross-Functional multi-regional Program(s)
• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Logistics/Engineering or an analytical field.
• Experience developing KPIs for Supplier related Metrics
• Experience using data to drive root cause elimination and process improvement
• Experience with automated self-service reporting tools
• 2+ years of hands on SQL experience/knowledge
• Experience with automated self-service reporting tools
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• APICS certification a plus (CPIM or CSCP)
• Experience with SAP software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10,000.00 - $20,000.00 per year
