Summary of position/daily activities:
We are currently in need of an experienced Angular Software Engineer with solid Angular 2.0 and Java experience to join our great team and work with leading edge technologies.
General Summary
The Angular Software Engineer is responsible for full cycle development (design, development, testing, documentation, and analysis) for software applications. This individual will apply technical knowledge and experience to build Web User Interfaces using industry standard tools and frameworks, such as Angular 2.0, NodeJS, RxJS and various UI libraries. The individual will be required to connect these User Interfaces using RESTful APIs to a Java/J2EE/Spring backend. The individual will be required to develop backend Java/Spring RESTful Interfaces to support any new requirements from the frontend UI. This individual should have the ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently.

Education and Additional Qualifications
- At least 3+ year of experience working with Angular 2.0 version 6 and above
- At least 3+ year of experience with Java development (Java EE or Spring)
- Experience working with RxJS developing RESTful interfaces
- Experience developing Web service using Java, Spring, Jackson (JSON/XML), including RESTful APIs
- Experience with a NoSQL Database such as MongoDB or equivalent
- Experience working with Java projects using Maven and Eclipse
- Familiarity of design patterns and object oriented analysis and design
- Understanding of software development best practices
- Experience with Git as software version control system
- Strong understanding of transforming business and functional requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent verbal and written skills
Education and Additional Qualifications
- BS, in Computer Science or Information Technology related fields
- Ability to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship
Desired skills/certifications (any additional skills desired but not required to be considered for the position):
- Experience working with Application/Web servers such as JBoss EAP, Wildfly or Tomcat
- Experience working with leading datastores and caches such as Redis, Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, and Postgres
- Experience with JSF (Java Server Faces) a plus
- Experience with a rules engine such as Drools a plus
- Experience working with Postman
