Tasks

Summary of Major Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare orders for shipment.
• Enter in embroidery designs.
• Prepare apparel items for embroidery.
• Write up orders using computer-based program.
• Monitor and maintain physical inventory.
• Receive in and count new inventory.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.

Detailed job duties:

• Pull and package orders for shipment.
• Enter in orders through the computer.
• Perform spot inventory inspections on a weekly basis.
• Enter in embroidery designs through the computer.
• Prepare apparel items for embroidery.
• Perform routine maintenance on embroidery machines.
• Receive in and inspect new inventory.
• Prepare inventory to be sent to third party for printing and design.
• Prepare and deliver Hoosier employee apparel orders to billing department.
• Perform end of year inventory physically count all apparel items in by hand.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications and requirements:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Some computer knowledge; familiarity with Microsoft Windows especially Outlook and Excel.
• Prior embroidery experience.
• Deadline oriented.
• Proven ability to think independently and handle multiple projects through to completion.
• Demonstrated independent work initiative, sound judgment, diplomacy, analytical ability and professional demeanor.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs.
