Apprenticeships are the best way to enter the skilled trades!

As an apprentice pipefitter you will:

• Learn the trade as you work with an experienced journeyman
• Earn while you learn! Apprentices earn wages and benefits.
• Have access to specialized training to prepare you for the State Journeyman examination as well as other valuable credentials.
• Gain education and credentials without student loans! Apprenticeship programs do not charge tuition.
• Not be expected to have previous experience or training. You will gain both of those during the apprenticeship!

Individuals who are accepted into our program will begin working for local contractors such as Jamar Company, Lakehead Constructors, or Stack Bros to name a few. Starting wages would be $21.41 in addition to a $17.85 benefit package for a total hourly compensation of $39.26. As apprentices progress through their five year apprenticeship their wages will increase every 6 months until they reach the Journeyman rate of $45.32 an hour with a benefits package of $25.12 for a total hourly rate of $70.45.

Apprentices will also attend related training classes at our Training Center.
