Lubke is a luxury design-build company that specializes building homes on the barrier islands of Pinellas County. We are looking to add an experienced and energetic, Architectural Drafting Technician (CAD) to our growing team. The primary role of this position will be to work with our internal design team and act as a liaison between our design team and clients and our ever-growing group of third-party architects, engineers and draftsman that we work alongside every day to mark our clients dream homes become a reality.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Understanding of construction details and design standards
• Meeting with Design Team to Implement Client Requests on plan iterations through construction documents
• Ability to effectively communicate through architectural redlines and illustrations
• Ability to facilitate effective home design that reflect client’s vision
• Maintain organization system of jobs for follow up and auditing purposes
• Utilize AutoCAD for drafting and Revit for modelling
• Keep up to date with municipality codes and/or FEMA guidelines
• Create systems to maximize efficiencies to include time and cost savings

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Must have at least 3 years of experience in construction drafting
• Must have complete knowledge and training in AutoCAD and Revit experience
• Must have good understanding of local building codes
• Knowledge of construction details and coastal construction
• Attention to detail and strong organization skills
• Analytic mindset and ability to think outside the box

This person must be able and willing to walk jobsites as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $53,085.00 - $58,049.00 per year
