JOB SUMMARY:

Assist in the day-to-day functions of the Assembly Department with various stages of the assembly and subassembly processes in the International Assembly Department.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

· ability to function efficiently both individually and as part of a team.

· Possess strong problem-solving skills.

· Ability to pay attention to detail

· Ability to multi-task and prioritize.

· Able to be accountable, reliable, punctual, and have a good work ethic.

· Ability to be open-minded and learn new things.

· Prior general assembly experience and strong mechanical aptitude preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Deciphers job orders.

· Read prints, charts, calipers, and other various measurement tools.

· Identifies and is accountable for various parts and materials.

· Complete basic forms.

· Verifies the accuracy of paperwork.

· Tracks job orders by date.

· Adjust fixturing.

· Periodically inspect tools and equipment for accuracy and/or deficiencies.

· Build main valves, and sub-assemblies and solve valve kitting problems.

· Ensure job folders remain with parts at all times.

· Be professional with a positive attitude.

· Safety-oriented (Safety First).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
