Job Description: Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment. Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
Essential Functions:
- Under close supervision, responsible for performing a basic variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
- Basic comprehension and interpretation of technical specifications, including IPC knowledge, terms, and documents. Ability to complete very structured assignments determining and/or following methods and sequence of operations in performing chemical applications on components and modules on assembly units utilizing machinery.
- Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications and work authorization documentation. Fully participate/engage in team meetings with a positive attitude.
- Be able to support other programs whenever there is a business need. Fully participate/engage in team meetings with a positive attitude.
- Assisting programs with various tasks of varying requests with a timely turn around.
Qualifications:
- Requires minimal job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Prior knowledge of Heller or GPD sheer plate equipment
