WORK HOURS:
7.5 hrs per day, Monday through Friday, for 172 contract days per year (170 student contact days plus 2 inservice days during the year)

JOB DUTIES:
Assist Head Cook in preparing/serving food, and cleanup following lunch and breakfast. Take over when the head cook is absent. Help head cook manage inventory and staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be Serve Safe certified or able to obtain certification within the first 90 days of employment. Good communication skills and dependable. Ability to adjust to change quickly, work at a fast pace, and multi-task, fill out order guides and production records accurately, and work with all staff in a professional manner. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in extreme temperatures (i.e. heat, freezer). Knowledge of the following equipment: fryers, slicer, mixers, steamers and ovens.

SALARY:
Based on the 2022-2023 Food Service Agreement salary schedule Level VI, Step 2 at $18.82 per hour.
