Adult Day Health Care center in West Hills, CA is hiring an Assistant Activity Coordinator who can lead the various activities for seniors and mentally disabled adults, some filing & paperwork is required.

* Perform patient activities (therapeutic and diversional) for all patients
* Carry out support tasks relating to patient activities correctly and on schedule.
* Ensures activity calendars and communications are updated and posted in a timely manner
* Participate in special events and outings ensuring necessary supplies are on hand and returned appropriately

* Update and maintain Pts daily activity flow sheets

* Assist with decorating center to reflect current season or holiday

• Good interpersonal skills
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to use own initiative with solid problem solving skills
• Experience in long-term care setting or related health care field.

An Assistant to Activity Coordinator SHOULD HAVE some experience in a social recreational or educational program, in a health care, mental health, or handicapped program setting. Great personality, people skills, patience, and creativity is required.

Work hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 2:30 pm (5.5 to 6 hrs per day)

Pay: $20-23 based on experience

Must be fluent in English and another language (Spanish, Arabic, Farsi or Russian)
