Position Summary::
The Associate Care Advisor provides superior customer service to help manage and maintain referrals for Seniorlink’s structured family caregiving programs. As part of the Care Advisory Unit, this individual responds to telephonic and digital leads, identifying potential eligibility of caregivers and care recipients interested in Seniorlink’s programs. The Associate Care Advisor provides customer service to current and potential caregivers, assisting with resource referral and the application process.
What You Will Do::
  • Associates degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in human services, healthcare or related business environment;
  • Knowledge of Medicaid requirements preferred
  • Superior customer service skills with proven ability to quickly gain confidence and trust
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new technology required; experience with care management systems is a big plus
What You Will Bring::
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and 2+ years of experience with human services or healthcare for elderly and disabled clients.
  • Customer service experience preferred. Experience in a call center environment desired.
  • Data Entry with high degree of accuracy, and proficiency with Excel and Database systems.
  • Bilingual skills preferred.
