KPMG is currently seeking an Associate to join our Audit practice.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare standard investment securities risk assessment and price reports for job requests submitted by audit engagement teams through use of internal software and source vendor software and data
• Work closely with senior team members to understand the workflow and how to prepare the deliverables that are provided to audit teams
• Act as follow up resource as the engagement team works through valuation matters within the provided price report, including researching via Bloomberg and other vendor platforms
• Build and maintain a strong working relationship with audit teams and pricing source vendors
• Understand firm guidance regarding auditing the fair value of financial instruments to provide effective support to audit teams
• Assist with special operational projects such as system upgrades and field communications
• Perform engagement billing

Qualifications:

• Minimum one year of pricing, accounting, finance or related client service experience within a professional services firm
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Accounting or Finance; or college degree combined with prior internship or work experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word; knowledge of Bloomberg and other financial tools preferred
• Strong technical aptitude, analytical, communication, critical thinking and time management skills; flexible and adaptable team player
• Ability to work additional hours and travel as needed
• U.S. Citizenship is required
