Job description

Fayetteville-Manlius Central School District is looking to hire an Audio Visual Specialist. This civil service position is responsible for reproducing audio and visual recordings, slides, and video media on various formats; the reproduction of audio and visual recordings from live performance, and/or radio and television programs. Duplicate copies are also reproduced from original audio and video media. Materials reproduced are used primarily for the classroom, library media center, cable TV, or for community projects. Interested candidates must hold the Audio-Visual Specialist civil service title.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A) Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university or one accredited by the New York State Board of Regents to grant degrees with an Associate's Degree in Audio-Visual technology, communications technology, educational communications, broadcast or television production or technology, or a closely related field that focuses on the use and maintenance of studio and field production and recording equipment; or,

B) Two (2) years of work experience, or its part-time equivalent, in the operation of a variety of audio visual equipment, i.e., audio playback/recording machines, still photographic equipment, and video playback/recording/editing machines; or,

C) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of

(A) and (B).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,500.00 per year
