Austin-Bergstrom International Airport - Baggage Service Agent!

Prospect Airport Services is hosting a hiring event for BOTH Full-Time and Part-Time Baggage Service Agents. We are hiring on the spot!

Paid training!!

We are looking for flexible team players with positive attitudes and outstanding customer service and communication skills. Customer Service Agents Assist customers with a variety of tasks depending of position such as assisting with their delayed, lost, or damaged luggage and process lost and found items, assisting passengers to connection flights via wheelchair, etc.

We are looking for flexible team players with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities for Baggage Service Agents include but are not limited to:

• Assisting passengers check-in in or collecting oversize baggage.

• Lifting oversize bags; such as skis, car seats and sports equipment, from passenger check-in and place on the belt to go for screening.
• Lift inbound oversize and placing it on the moving wall or platform for passenger pickup.

• Providing service to airline passengers with disabilities, by pushing wheelchairs or escorting them through the airport.

Requirements:

• ·Must be able to Push, pull, walk, sit and stand for long periods of time

• ·Must be able to lift up to 70lb frequently

• Able to work in a fast- paced environment

• Work as part of a team and independently

• Need to be able to communicate effectively with passengers and team members

• Must be able to pass a full background check and obtain and maintain an airport ID badge.

Requirements for Passenger Service Assistants include but are not limited to:

• Must be eligible for hire in the US

• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime

• Ability to report to work on a regular and timely basis

• Must be able to pass a 10-year background check

• Must be able to lift up to up to 75lbs and push a loaded wheelchair up to 300lbs up and down inclines throughout the shift

• Must be able to stand for duration of shift as needed

Must be able to lift, bend, squat, reach, and turn with objects weighing least 75lbs for duration of shift as needed

• We work in a rewarding capacity of serving the traveling public, move in and around the airport.
