Power & Automation Engineer

Direct hire

$105,000/yr.+ DOE

Scottsville, VA or Charlotte, NC

This position will conduct technical and economic evaluations, performance testing, design and construction of new and existing facilities, and research on new developments, applying a strong understanding of industry and operational requirements.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Developing and completing equipment condition-based maintenance programs

· Repairing and improving operational reliability of electrical infrastructure and voltage systems

· Supporting electrical equipment outage and maintenance

· Supporting operation and maintenance of Hp Primary drivers and associated infrastructure

· Maintaining electrical drawings

· Performing electrical reviews of management of change plans and work plans

· Supporting project design review and factory acceptance testing support for electrical systems

· Coordinating and reviewing arc flash studies and implementing improvements

· Developing training programs and training electrical technicians on electrical fundamentals

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license

· A minimum of two (4) years of engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry

Pay: $105,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
