Accounting Assistant for north Georgia automobile dealership

We are seeking an experienced detail-oriented individual to handle multiple intermediate level accounting tasks.

Applicant must demonstrate good administration and organization skills, have basic accounting skills, knowledge of routine accounting functions, good computer skills, and a working knowledge of CDK and/orReynolds & Reynolds automotive software experience is a plus.

Ideal candidate will have some franchised dealership experience, ability to work independently, meet deadlines and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner. Dependable job attendance and performance required. Pay commensurate with experience, reporting directly to the controller for basic accounting functions.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• General accounting

• Accurately post and process retail and wholesale car deals

• Processing bi-weekly payroll for 50 employees

• Various schedule responsibility

• Handle miscellaneous dealership accounting functions

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday. Pleasant and friendly work environment. A positive attitude and ability to work well with others is a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
