AUTOMOTIVE DEALERSHIP PARTS INVENTORY CLERK:

Full Time.

Pines Ford-Lincoln is a family owned and operated, well-capitalized business with an over 1 million sq./ft. facility. Due to our exponential growth in the parts department, we are now interviewing for full time parts inventory clerk, ready to join our motivated team!

Qualifications:

• Entry level position in the automotive dealership inventory control.
• Basic knowledge of inventory control and/or Shipping & Receiving process.
• Basic computer skills & inventory “work-flow” process are required.
• Able to read & comprehend instructions and information
• Basic knowledge of operating a forklift.
• Basic knowledge in handling hazardous materials.

Responsibilities:

• Daily inventory receiving.
• Organize and control the workflow of the daily shipping & receiving documents
• File and manage the shipping & receiving documents for reconciling parts and invoicing.
• Match shipping & receiving documents to coincide with the daily parts invoices from the manufacturer.
• Processing parts claims and sending “returns” back to the manufacturer.
• Receive outside purchases from other suppliers.
• Create and process return claims accordingly.
• Transfer daily paperwork between the parts department and the accounting office.
• Maintain office supplies for the parts department
• Help clean and maintain the parts warehouse, organized and clean.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic accounting knowledge.

Requirements:

• Maintain a safe and secure environment by adhering to the safety & security standards and procedures of the Dealership.
• Update your job knowledge by participating in the prescribed educational opportunities at the Dealership.
• Staying abreast of new products and maintaining a required level of knowledge of the various manufactures’ certifications and safety requirements.
