St. Louis County & Yellow Taxi, is looking for a dedicated, experienced, FULL-TIME Auto Fleet Mechanic to join our growing team.

Our family of companies is comprised of G&N Services, St. Louis County & Yellow Taxi, and BEST Transportation. From taxis, sedans, shared ride vans and chauffeured buses we have a lot to offer clients. This mechanic position will be based at our central location.

Our fleet mechanic team members enjoy a clean, stable, well equipped work environment and are provided with great health & welfare, vacation time, sick time, and two floating holidays.

Pay is based on experience.

Our new team member will be tasked with:

· Diagnosing vehicle issues using scanning tools then making repairs and reprogramming as needed.

· Typical repairs include tires, brakes, steering, oil changes, ect.

· Perform regularly scheduled maintenance on all vehicles.

· Maintaining vehicle records as required in a precise manner.

· Observe and maintain all safety procedures in the garage at all times.

Candidate Requirements:

· Strong communication skills, including verbal, written and electronic.

· Have 1-2 years of auto fleet mechanic experience with formal training.

· Have a valid state driver’s license.

· Ability to provide your own tools.

· Ability to pass a background and drug test.

· Currently working in field is a MUST.

· Schedule will be Monday – Friday between 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Diesel experience is a plus! Then you can work on BEST Transportation’s vehicles.

Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a busy, physically demanding, garage.

· Capability to stand for long periods of time and to work under cars and in tight, awkward spaces.

· Capable of lifting 50lbs at a time.
