Banquet Server/Busser

Diamond Mills Hotel & Tavern is seeking dedicated banquet staff members for our busy upcoming fall event season who have a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.

Diamond Mills is the Hudson Valley's premier dining and special events destination. Located in the Village of Saugerties, The Tavern at Diamond Mills offers handcrafted contemporary American cuisine in a picturesque setting above the Esopus Falls. In addition to The Tavern, the elegant Grand Ballroom at Diamond Mills can accommodate weddings, corporate retreats, conferences, and banquets for up to 450 seated guests.

This is a part-time position that requires availability during evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Serving food and drinks to guests during weddings and special events

· Preparing the ballroom for an event by setting up tables, laying table linens, arranging chairs, silver ware, centerpieces, etc.

· Attending to guests’ needs and requests to ensure exceptional guest service and an unforgettable experience

· Refilling water, coffee, beverages, condiments, and any other items as needed

· Clearing tables and transporting dishes to the kitchen

· Participating in the cleaning and break-down of ballroom at the end of the event

Requirements:

· Wait-staff, banquet, or food service experience

· Friendly, courteous, and professional communication skills

· Responsiveness and attention-to-detail

· Ability to stand/walk for duration of 6-8 hour event

· Must be able to lift and carry service trays weighing up to 35 lbs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
