Waiters needed to work events at Downtown Jersey City Hotel

AM/PM during the week and Weekend shifts

Applicants would be working as a Banquet Server at our events. While we prefer waiter experience we are willing to train the right individuals.

We are looking for clean cut, energetic folks who enjoy working high end events in a breath taking setting.

Prior server experience as a Banquet server or Restaurant server Required for the rate advertised.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area.
• Relay food and beverage orders.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed customer service expectations.
• Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Relay important information about orders, allergies and special requests to the appropriate person.
• Respond urgently and appropriately to any concerns.
• Present in professional appearance and mannerisms.

Possibility to earn tips, experience rare events and partake in mouth watering delights are a perk of the job.

Holidays are time and a half, pay cycle is weekly

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
