Providence Hall is seeking a qualified baseball coach to instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. At the same time, the student shall receive instruction that will lead to the formation of moral values, pride of accomplishment, acceptable social behavior and self-confidence.

The success of the athletic programs has a strong influence on the community image of the entire system. The public exposure is a considerable responsibility and community/parent pressure on the winning performance is taxing, but must not over-ride the objective of good sportsmanship, good mental health, and the safety of the athletes.

This is a stipend-based position.

Qualifications:
-Previous successful coaching or playing experience or knowledge in the assigned sport
-Must have knowledge of the background in the assigned sport
-Substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and at the same time must continue to examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the sport
-Knowledge of basic rules of the activity and specific safety concerns
-Ability to organize and supervise a total sports program
-Ability to work effectively with other coaches, staff and students

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Cleared background check
Experience in the sport (min of 2 years)
Coaching experience preferred

Pay: From $1,200.00 per year
