**Patient Watch Oriented Role**
Specialty: Behavioral Health Technician - ED Mental Health Team Setting
Location: Seattle, WA

Shift(s): 3x12 Days, variable days including weekends.
On Call: No
Weekend: Yes
Floating: No
Contract Length: 13
Cert Requirements:

• - BLS required
• - Reg counselor, Reg/Cert nursing assistant preferred

Required Experience:

• - Minimum of 1 year experience required
• - Pediatric and/or adolescent inpatient psychiatric experience required

• - De-escalation techniques required

Preferred Experience:

• - Acute care experience preferred
• - Psychiatric ER experience preferred

• - Bathing/grooming/dressing, vital signs, restraints (4 point) experience preferred
• - Patient diagnostic experience in anxiety disorders, assaultive behavior, bipolar disorders, congenital/developmental disorders, depressive disorders, eating disorders, obsessive/compulsive disorder, panic attacks, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, psychotic disorder, schizophrenia- spectrum disorders, suicidal behavior-ideation/attempts, severe intellectual disabilities, profound impulsive control issues experience preferred
• - Epic software experience preferred

Additional info about the unit:

- Emergency Department Mental Health Team. 40 bed ED, Mental Health census between 6-18 at a time, ages 5-18. Diagnoses include suicidal ideation, severe anxiety, psychosis, disruptive behavior disorders, autism spectrum disorders with concurrent aggression or self harm, among others.
