City Lending Inc, a direct mortgage lender headquartered in the DC metro area is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to join the team. In this position, excellent customer service skills are needed to serve our vendors, internal departments and clients.

Essential Functions:

• Obtain and analyze information necessary to process mortgage applications, including credit reports, income documentation, assets, title work, appraisals, and any other pertinent information. Must have 5 years of recent mortgage loan processing experience.
• Effectively communicate with underwriting, docs, funding, post-closing and other internal departments to ensure loans are completed accurately for purchasing
• Consistently update and maintain loan status within Encompass, processing out denied or cancelled loans in a timely manner to ensure accuracy in loan pipeline status
• Accurately prepare files for closing, verifying closing dates, first payment dates, proper set up of escrow accounts, and coordinating with settlement agents for closing
• Daily pipeline management with an emphasis on meeting rate lock expirations, mortgage commitment dates, and department turn times
• Managing client relations and ensuring compliance with regulations and agencies (preferred knowledge of FHA/VA, FNMA, HUD, etc.)

Required Experience

Bilingual in Eglish and Spanish

• Should be experienced in processing purchases, refinances, Conv, FHA & Down Payment Assistance

Five or more years of current experience in processing residential home loans (emphasis on conventional, FHA, and VA products preferred)

• Working experience with Encompass360
• Knowledge of all mortgage and consumer lending regulations
• Ability to Review & Analyze Tax Returns/Income Documentation

Education

• Associates degree in related field preferred/equivalent combination of work experience
