JOB TITLE: BIM Engineer

DEPARTMENT: General PJT Team

REPORTS TO: BIM Manager

LOCATION: Taylor, TX

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Under policy direction from the BIM Manager and the Project Team, the BIM Engineer position is in charge of 3D BIM Models(including Revit, Navisworks manage, AutoCAD, 3D Laser Scan data merge Program) management to all work, 3D Laser Scanning and scan data merge and review, manage /coordinate 3D BIM Models between us and subcontractor.

• 3D Modeling and add/input the Parameter values
• 2D Drawing Extraction from 3D Models
• Bill of Material Extraction from 3D Models
• Navisworks Manage Operating
• Clash check, Timeliner etc
• AutoCAD Operating - Drawing
• Management of the latest 3D BIM Model and confirm whether the construction status is reflected in the 3D BIM model
• Check and manage Revit files, Navisworks files and 2D shop drawings received from vendors.
• Create 4D simulation results using the Timeliner function from Navisworks.
• Follow-up until delivery of As-built 3D BIM Model (Revit) is completed

Qualification/Requirement

• At least two years of proven experience in 3D BIM(Revit, Navisworks) modeling, review and managing work (including export Bill of Material, 2D drawing from Revit and clash check, using Timeliner function from Navisworks manage)
• At least one year of proven experience in 3D Laser Scanner operating and merge the scan data by using program.
• Computer literacy (preparedness to learn and manage computer software packages necessary for office work, especially related to communication and information management);
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize routine and ad hoc tasks
• Demonstrated ability to communicate in written and spoken English;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills;
